The immersion tank for thermo-shrinkable bags with barrier (immersion tank for thermo vacuum bags with hood) is a device for packing products in heat-shrinkable bags.

Products packed in heat-resistant bags which must then be placed in a hot environment. The device has a water-filled tank, which is kept at a constant temperature in the range of 15-99°C. The products are placed on a horizontal pallet of 580 x 380 mm, which after loading is lowered inside the tank and immersed in hot water for a scheduled period of time. Most often, the immersion time is 2-3 seconds, depending on the type of product.
